The excitement was highest as the new batch of 2023-24 gathered for their first day at Sameer Industrial Training Institute (ITI). The fresh faces, full of enthusiasm and curiosity, marked the beginning of their journey towards acquiring hands-on skills and industry knowledge. The day was planned to help students settle in, get familiar with the campus, and meet the instructors who would guide them through this phase of their educational path.
The program began with a warm welcome from our Principal, who shared a few words on the importance of vocational training and encouraged the students to take full advantage of the resources at ITI. He highlighted the instituteтАЩs focus on preparing students for real-world careers and emphasized the commitment to building a skilled and future-ready workforce.
Following the PrincipalтАЩs address, each faculty member was introduced, sharing their background and role at ITI. From electrical engineering to welding, every trade instructor spoke briefly about their field and encouraged students to approach them with questions and ideas. The staff members reassured students of their support in both academics and practical training, fostering an environment of open communication and mentorship.
Afterward, students were invited to introduce themselves, sharing their backgrounds, interests, and goals. This interaction helped create an early bond within the batch and allowed students to connect over shared ambitions and ideas for the future.
The day concluded with a campus tour, where students explored the classrooms, workshops, and various facilities like the library, canteen, and recreational areas. A group photo captured the first moments of the batchтАЩs journey.
